|Malta is a relatively
small island and the public transport system lived up to its reputation. The
public bus services are frequent for the majority of routes so there is no need
to hire a car. In 2013 a 12 Euro 7 day bus ticket allowed unlimited travel on
all the bus routes except the night buses (no need to buy another ticket when
you change buses). Yes it may take a little longer to get from a to b, but the
way a lot of the people drive it is by far the best and cheapest option.
old yellow bedford buses are not in general use anymore (pity), instead they
are standard type busses used in many countries.

historical holiday, plan in advance where and what you want to see, most of the
